Storii By ITC Hotels Castle Kanota

We had a lovely family stay at Castle Kanota. The food was amazing, thanks to Shubham, Suresh, Avinash Chef, and their team. Abhijeet served us drinks that we really enjoyed. A hotel worth visiting.

The pets were a highlight for us. We love dogs, and the friendly ones at the resprt were so gentle. My daughter adored them. If you're worried about the dogs, please don't ask anyone to lock them away. Mr. Mahipal and his team took lovely care of us for our special ocassion, and the room decorations for our anniversary were beautiful. We enjoyed the restaurant food, especially the outstanding mutton preparations. The chef's personality took care of our requirements. The Kalbalia performance was very nice, with your own bonfire, and the chef's recommendation was a must go. We had an amazing experience at Castle Kanota, starting with a warm welcome and a great introduction to the castle's history.

The heritage details, set off by the newer ambience, made the property pleasing to look at. We stayed three nights and had a very good experience overall. Still, several heritage items, like the Horse Baggit, were left dirty and unattended in a corner. If cared for, they could add a museum feel. The food was not good at all, and we struggled with it during our stay. The swimming pool also wasn't temperature controlled.

The property is renovated and fine for a one-day staycation, but there isn't anything to explore outside. There were very few guests, only three rooms booked during our stay, so they didn't offer buffet service. Service was generally slow, and the food was just okay, not great. We booked at introductory prices because it had just started with the ITC brand. It wouldn't be worth it if prices rise to the usual ITC hotel level.
