The Bayan Elegance

I had a really bad stay. My first room was unclean, with a dirty bedsheet, wet tables, and a bathroom I couldn’t use, so I moved to another one. That room was dirty too, with hair on the bed and dusty, wet furniture. It also smelled bad, and I ended up sleeping on my own bedsheet. Guests in the other rooms played loud music late at night.

My four days at The Bayan Elegance were a nightmare, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The rooms were untidy, with smelly cots, hairs, and lipstick marks. Bathrooms were unclean, the TV hadn’t been recharged, the hot water kettle didn’t work, and the bath kits provided were inadequate. Water bottles seemed tampered with and refilled. Breakfast meant just one dish, with no complimentary options, and food service only took cash.

I paid ₹2300 through MMT for a filthy room with holes in the bedsheet and a dirty pillow. The AC at reception wasn’t working, and I waited 45 mins for what they called a clean room. At 9:30, after being told breakfast ran from 9-10:30, I was told the restaurant was closed. They had only 2 items, from a cart. Zero value for guests, and I blame MMT for putting this hotel on its platform.

Not recommended unless you’ve planned well. There’s no hot water, the rooms smell of smoking, and the amenities aren’t great.
