The Florence Resort

We booked the resort for two days, 20th & 21st April 2026, for my daughter's wedding, and the event was amazing for us. The garden was clean and well maintained, with excellent ambience and basic decorations, including lights and flowers. The "Mandap" for the wedding rituals was beautifully designed and decorated. Rooms and restaurant service were especially well planned and maintained by the Resort Management, and the staff were cordial and generous. The food had excellent quality and variety. We did lose some valuables from a room. We don’t know whether they were stolen, misplaced, or lost, and we aren’t blaming anyone, but it hurt a lot and left us feeling ashamed and helpless during such an auspicious occasion. This shouldn’t have happened at a reputed place. Even so, overall it was a nice experience.

The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choices to suit different tastes, and my room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable with all the amenities I needed. The resort itself was beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. From arrival, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and paid attention to the details. Everyone offered quick help, friendly interactions, and thoughtful gestures, handling things with care and professionalism. It was a flawless experience for me, and I’d definitely return. I highly recommend it for comfort, luxury, and outstanding service.

The staff were good, but the rooms felt dingy, and the dated bed covers had lots of stains. The beds and pillows were okay. Both rooms we used had leaking basins, and the showers didn't work properly. The left-hand spray in the WC was uncomfortable to use. I added this after staying the night. Unless you're attending a wedding there and have to stay, I'd skip this resort. It wasn't worth 2500 or more. In my view, 1500 with or without breakfast should be the most they charge. We saw The 10th floor about ten minutes away, with similar rooms offered for 1300 without breakfast. I've stayed in far better hotels in Kolhapur for 15-1800. A horrible experience.

The students especially liked the tasty, balanced meals. Everything was fresh, hygienically prepared, and served on time, with a good choice for everyone. The staff were polite and attentive, and the security arrangements gave the teachers and parents peace of mind. On our school trip, we found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well cared for, a relaxing place for students and teachers to unwind after travel and activities. From arrival onward, the staff welcomed us warmly and managed our arrangements smoothly. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel for school trips and other groups. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
