The T T Palace

The rooms were quite spacious, and the washroom was neat and clean. The receptionist was humble, and overall I was quite satisfied. The location might not appeal at first, but it’s okay-ish from Hawa mahal, and an Erikshaw is available from the hotel’s main road. I’ll book it again.

The service went well beyond what I expected. The staff were amazing: they let us check in super early in the morning, and the manager spent two hours helping us get sim cards for our phones and work through the red tape and bureaucracy. TT palace was a nice place to stay, with clean rooms, good internet, and a simple breakfast. I did find it a bit overpriced compared with some other Jaipur options.

We enjoyed our three nights here. The restaurant was amazing, and the staff were good and kept everything clean. The location was convenient, right among most of the sightseeing spots. There’s no lift, but they helped us with our bags.

The staff were really nice, which was the one positive part of our stay. We had a confirmed reservation at Rajputana Haveli, but the driver brought us to this mediocre hotel instead. They said Rajputana Haveli was overbooked and that someone hadn’t checked out on time, which struck me as bs. The room they called their nicest, given the switch, still wasn’t up to par and was worse than a less expensive room at Rajputana Haveli. I noticed other guests being shuttled back and forth, so I think moving people may be a regular practice. They didn’t reduce the rate when we complained, and management seemed not to care about the inconvenience. If you have a confirmed reservation, you shouldn’t be moved to a different hotel.
