Townhouse Sikar Road Jaipur Formerly Hotel Aroma Inn

My original booking was through Cleartrip for Super Hotel O Laxmi Nagar Jhotwara (formerly Ballyfin Retreat), made two days before the trip. When I arrived, the staff said it was full and refused to give me a room. Cleartrip contacted Oyorooms, but the only alternative they offered was Townhouse Sikar Road Jaipur (formerly Hotel Aroma Inn). I wasn’t keen after seeing its 3.5 rating, but had no other choice. The stay was awful: there was no hot water, the AC and TV didn’t work, and the bathroom had no doormate. There were no glasses or basic toiletries and amenities. They also wouldn’t let us dine inside with food brought from outside or delivered. Small cockroaches and even a centipede were in the bathroom. The place matched the poor Google reviews. I’d never recommend it. Avoid booking if you want a comfortable, hygienic stay.

The power went out within 30 minutes of check-in and stayed off for more than two hours, with no proper management or backup. We had booked two rooms, and both were dirty, poorly maintained, and uncomfortable from the start. They didn’t provide the AC remote and said the temperature was fixed, which isn’t acceptable for a paid stay. The manager and staff spoke to us rudely and unprofessionally. The building didn’t feel safe either. The whole stay was frustrating, and I strongly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

It cost about 1000 rs for a night in a double bed room. There’s good privacy and no disturbance, so it seems better suited to bachelors than families.
