Guulab Haveli

The homely feeling made our stay at Guulab Haveli Hotel especially memorable. It felt less like a hotel and more like being welcomed into a well loved home. The staff were warm, attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout. The property is beautifully designed, with details that reflect Jaisalmer's charm and heritage, and it was impeccably clean everywhere. It's peaceful while still being only a 5 min walk from Jaisalmer Fort. We would definitely come back, and I highly recommend Guulab Haveli for a comfortable, authentic and heartwarming stay in Jaisalmer.

My stay at Hotel Gulaab Haveli in the Heritage Premium Room on Dec 21,2025 was extremely disappointing. The rooms are miniature and cramped, surprising for such a high nightly tariff, and service didn't meet the standard I'd expect at that price. Dining is pure veg with very few choices, so the stay didn't feel like value for money. The location has potential and the property is instagram worthy, but the experience didn't justify the cost. A clearer description of room sizes and better service would help. I also feel their ratings are managed and non authentic, which could mislead people trying to book a premium stay in Jaisalmer.

The location is just 5 minutes' walk from the fort, and the rooms were super clean. We spent 30 minutes taking pictures in the large common sofa area because the Haveli has such rich character. Everything seemed carefully thought out, from the door handle and lamps to the architecture. After a week traveling around Rajasthan and staying in several places, this was the best one.

The rooftop was the highlight, with views of the fort and city, a cool breeze and a pool to relax by. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable, within an easy walk of restaurants and the fort, and the dinner thali was delicious every night. The neighborhood is noisy if you're sensitive to city sounds, but that's the trade off for being central.
