Hostel Fort Side Jaisalmer

The rooftop terrace has lovely views, and the place is conveniently close to both the bus stop and Jaisalmer Fort. The owner, Aladdin, was helpful and sorted out the problems we brought up. We took the hostel’s camel safari and enjoyed it, and they let us leave our bags there. Good value, and I’d recommend it.

The location is right in the centre, close to all the attractions, and the rooftop has an amazing view of the fort. I spent a few hours up there working remotely and really enjoyed it. The safari camping service was also great, with everything included for a very good price. Alladin is an amazing host, so helpful and welcoming, and the rest of the staff were wonderful too. They offer pickup at any hour, which was a real help when I arrived at 4 in the morning. My room was great, clean, with a really good bed and a hot shower. One of my best stays so far. Thank you!

The property is close to the Fort gate but tucked away from the busy main roads. Mr. Aladdin was cheerful and very helpful. We arrived early and were given an early check-in. The rooms were excellent for the price, with clean bathrooms and fresh linen. We went on the desert safari arranged by the hotel and had a great time. Dhanu, our camel man, and his staff at the dune were very friendly and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. After we checked out early for a drive to Longewala border, Mr. Aladdin even invited us back for a shower afterward and gave us several useful tips for the day’s drive. The rooftop has one of the best views of the Fort, and you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner up there. The place is just outside the Fort, which meant we were hassled less. They also offer pickup and drop-off and desert tours. Kamal and Angel were lovely and made us feel at home.
