The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with lovely views across the city and the fort, especially around sunrise and sunset. Hotel Hayyat is also handy for Gadisar Lake and Jaisalmer Fort, and having plenty of parking made things easy with our own vehicle. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well kept. Staff were warm and courteous, and always ready to help. We felt welcome throughout the stay. Hotel Hayyat made a great base in Jaisalmer, and I'd happily come back.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Hayyat. The location near the lake and Jaisalmer Fort made sightseeing easy, and the area was peaceful. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel was comfortable and good value, though the bed covers and blankets could have been cleaner. Everything else was fine, and we would recommend it to others visiting Jaisalmer.

It's easy to find right on the road, and parking is available. But the rooms were dusty, and the washroom smelled and wasn't clean. The rooftop sitting area felt dry and had no vibe. Food choices weren't flexible, with fixed per-person charges, and the whole thing felt mechanical. I didn't enjoy the stay and wouldn't recommend it.

The room and the hotel's general surroundings weren't clean, which was disappointing. The worst part was a family being checked into the room beside us at about 3:00 AM. Their children made lots of noise and banged on our door, which was frightening and stressful. Staff did nothing to calm things down or ask them to be quiet. We felt unsafe and frustrated, and couldn't sleep. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a peaceful, safe stay.

The only good thing here is the location. Rooms were dirty, with old, worn carpets and dust everywhere; the toilets were dirty too. The floor looked as if it had never been mopped, the TV didn't work, and breakfast was the same every day. Avoid this place.
