Hotel Jeet Mahal

The New Year performances were the best part, especially the dance by Muskan, Geetha sharma, and the other traditional dances. The rest of our stay was a mess. We’d already seen negative reviews, but Roshan, Ali, and a few others talked us into booking with their sugar coated words. We weren’t welcomed properly, and they didn’t provide everything promised in the package. Other hotels’ guests were enjoying jeep and camel safaris, while these people lied to us and wasted our time there. Our whole plan changed because of this HOTEL JEET MAHAL booking. Choosing this hotel was my worst decision. Don’t waste your money booking a stay here with these guys. It’s not worth it, and these people are doing a scam in the name of business.

The hosts went out of their way to make our trip one of the best we’ve had, and it was great meeting such hospitable people. They also gave us good advice about desert activities. The hotel is within walking distance of the fort and other sightseeing spots. A perfect stay.

This was one of the worst hotels on our Rajasthan trip. The rooms were in poor condition, and the towels were worse than the floor mat by the bathroom entrance. The toilets and bathrooms weren’t clean. We agreed on an amount over WhatsApp, then called and negotiated a lower one. When it was time to pay, the owner denied that we’d negotiated by phone and showed us the WhatsApp chat. We had to pay extra. When we arrived, we needed water and were about to go out to get some. Staff said they’d bring bottled water, then doubled the bottle price on the bill, saying it was for room service. Don’t be fooled by the name "mahal". The owner will suggest his contact for a car or cab tour of Jaisalmer, but we found a cab for literally half the price by asking outside. If you don’t want your trip spoiled, don’t choose Jeet Mahal Jaisalmer.

The stay itself was good, but the cab they provided to aster desert camp khuri was very bad. At drop-off, the driver asked for extra money. The driver and hotel owner both pressured us to book a camp stay at Sam, even though we already had our camp booked.
