Treebo Trip Sun Square

The location worked well, close to Kanaka Durga temple and about 25 minutes from TTD temple. But the facilities weren't up to standard. The room smelled of paint, and the phone only worked for dialing 9 to reach reception. We couldn't call room service on 200 because the phone buttons wouldn't work, and staff didn't seem to care. We stayed two nights. On the first day they gave us a water bottle, but the next day said we had to return it so they could refill it, which was odd. The room service food wasn't great either. The onions looked slightly black and smelled bad, and the bathroom wasn't very clean.

The hotel was reasonably priced, and I got an extra discount on Goibibo after booking through an online app. I reserved two rooms, one for myself and another for my sir, while returning from office work in Guntur. The location was good, and the rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and well maintained. My AC room was neat and clean, with useful things like a kettle, tea, sugar, and coffee. In room 303, though, one side of the washroom towel handle was broken, and water leaked from the basin pipe. Those were minor problems, and I still liked the rooms for the price.

The food is tasty and the rooms are clean, but the service has been poor. We're staying here now. On the first day we opted for lunch or dinner and breakfast, and checked the price with staff, who said it was 300 rupees per head. Now they're repeatedly asking us to pay as if that price was per room instead. The manager and staff are giving us different policies, and the wait for food is much too long.

I stayed at Hotel Sun Square for three days and found it clean and hygienic, with regular cleaning and staff available to help around the clock. Hot water was available all day, and the staff responded quickly whenever I needed help. The reception offers complimentary mocktails and changes them daily, so you can try a different one for free. A few rooms have air conditioner problems, though, so I'd check the AC carefully before checking in.
