The location is a real plus, close to the railway station and markets, and direct bookings allow a 24-hour checkout. I stayed one day recently. The property is old, though some renovation has been done. My room was spacious and clean, and the washroom was clean too, but the fan creaked. More investment in the upholstery, furniture, and fans would help. The restaurant staff were courteous; I tried both complimentary and paid snacks, which were okay. The cups and saucers should be replaced. The room rate seemed reasonable and included breakfast. I didn’t use the bar. It felt safe for family travelers, perhaps because the hotel is so old. Fine for budget travelers.

The vegetarian restaurant is worth trying, especially for its authentic, delicious Andhra Thali. Checking in was easy, and the staff were professional. You get a very spacious room for the price, which is unusual these days. The hotel is also well placed, about an 800m walk from Vijayawada Railway Station and close to Kanaka Durga Temple. The review also singles out Biryani or South Indian Thali as among the most praised items.

An average stay at one of Vijayawada’s oldest hotels. The rooms were good, but the toilet hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the place felt short on hygiene. Breakfast was average too.

It’s handy for both the bus stand and railway station, and the menu is good. The rooms could use better upkeep: water from the AC outlet leaked into our room, and there were no water bottles. Breakfast service was disorganized, with waits for items like poori, and the buffet only starts at 8 am, which is quite late.
