Hotel Narayan Niwas Palace

The location made it easy to walk to the lake, fort, and market. We stayed in early December and had a great time. The rooms were spacious and the food was good. The architecture is beautiful and has a real royal feel. I'd recommend it to tourists.

It's close to both the main market and the fort, which makes the location a real plus. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the staff are polite and helpful. The place feels royal, but still had a homey feel.

I enjoyed the unusual experience of staying in a converted old palace. The property looks beautiful and has an impressive atmosphere, and traditional Rajasthani singers performed in the evenings during our visit. The beds were comfortable, the blankets cozy, and a large mirror in each room made it feel nice. There was a bathtub and hot water around the clock. On the downside, there were no charging sockets in the rooms, so we had to use the inconvenient TV sockets, and the toilet had no jetspray. The staff's manner was just okay. The pool was closed when I visited, and the complimentary breakfast was only a little above average.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, cozy, and a decent size. I liked the pretty architecture, and the food was delicious. It's in a nice spot near the fort and the rest of the market.
