Hotel Oasis Haveli - Hostel

The rooftop restaurant is the standout, with a wide-open view of Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kella). At breakfast, we could watch the sun rise over its sandstone walls while having poha or an omelet. In the evenings there were campfires and soft music, with the fort lit up in the night sky. Hotel Oasis Haveli is in Silawata Para, just a few minutes on foot from the Fort, Patwon Ki Haveli, and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. It's close enough to get around easily, yet tucked away for a quiet night's sleep. The yellow sandstone building has thick walls and high ceilings that help keep the desert heat out, and modern AC is available too. The rooms felt like a cultural experience, and Swaroop Ji and his family gave us wonderful hospitality. We had a very comfortable stay.

We stayed for three nights in a deluxe room with my family. It was spacious enough to feel like home, and the rooftop restaurant with its fort view was beautiful. Service was excellent, and everyone was kind and helpful, especially Swaroop ji, his Childers and all the staff, who were always ready to help and guide us. If I visit Jaisalmer again, I'd stay here without hesitation and recommend it to families.

Hotel Oasis was the highlight of my Jaisalmer trip. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with lovely traditional Rajasthani details, and the staff were helpful and made us feel at home. The rooftop gives a breathtaking view of the Golden Fort, especially at sunset. I'd highly recommend it for a real Jaisalmer experience.
