The worst part of our 10-day trip was staying here with my family of 14. I was there on December 28 and 29th 2024, and they charged too much, 30k for 3 rooms. The blanket they gave me was dirty, smelly, and full of cat hairs, so it was impossible to wear. When I asked for a replacement, they said they had nothing else. There was no hot water to drink, and the security guy didn’t stay there. After 10pm, you couldn’t find anyone. We suffered through a horrible experience. Keep this hotel as your last option, don’t pay in full, and tell them you’ll deduct money if things aren’t arranged properly. Maybe then they’ll serve you better.

The room was decent and the location very good. What really stood out was how kind the manager, Gaji, was. He’ll help you with just about anything, and we had a great desert safari with him!

It’s a cheap and cheerful hotel, nothing fancy, but it does the job. The manager and staff were really helpful, quickly sorting out our requests for extra towels, sheets, and so on. We got lots of delicious masala chai and a free pickup from the train station. They also let us leave our luggage there while we went on our camel safari.

The rooftop restaurant was nicely decorated and had a lovely view. My family and I really enjoyed the food and hospitality at the hotel The shooting star, and we hope to come back. The rooms were big and clean, and the bathrooms were clean too. They treat guests like god. Manager gafur was such a kind person, and the staff were always ready to help. Fully recommend!

There was no drinking water, the A.c wasn’t working, and there was a bad smell in and around the hotel. We didn’t feel our belongings were safe, either. The staff weren’t practical or supportive when we complained, saying it was our problem and taking no responsibility. At 11.00 pm, they told us to go to another hotel or run as is. Hoteliers repeatedly disturbed us in the middle of the night. A very bed experience with the hotel and Staff.
