Sterling Rudraksh Jaisalmer

The property looks especially lovely at night when the lights are on. I was struck by the hand-painted walls and ceilings at the entrance, along with the pool and gardens. It’s a beautiful palace and honestly hard to compare with anything else. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities, and the staff were kind, professional, and took great care of us. I’d recommend it for a luxurious, beautiful stay in Jaisalmer.

The resort is quite a distance from the city, with no shops or places to visit nearby. You’ll need your own vehicle or a taxi to get anywhere, which could be inconvenient. We had a pleasant stay at Sterling Resort, Jaisalmer, though. It’s well maintained, has a nice ambience, and the polite, welcoming staff were ready to help. Service and food were good too. Families have useful facilities: a kids’ play area, indoor and outdoor games, including cricket kit, football and badminton, plus a pool. We visited in the cold season and didn’t use the pool. It’s a peaceful place to relax, especially with family, if the location suits you.

Mr Pawan Jarur made our first visit to Jaisalmer a memorable one. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday at Sterling Rudrakash Jaisalmer, and since we didn’t know the city, he suggested places for us to explore. At my request, he went out of his way to arrange a cake, a flower bouquet, and room decoration for her birthday. He also gave us a heartfelt welcome and made check-in smooth. That kind of warm hospitality and extra effort deserves recognition. Thanks again, Mr Pawan Jarur.

Staff were welcoming and service was prompt. The drawback is the location, in the middle of nowhere, so you need a car to get around. The property is well built, but didn’t feel grand. The rooms and reception lobby seemed under-designed, like the bare minimum for a Sterling property. I’ve stayed at other Sterling properties and had a much grander experience. Food and breakfast were good, not great. Breakfast was well done, but the spread wasn’t lavish and mostly had the usual items. Nothing to complain about, but I expected more. I’d recommend it if you get a good deal.
