The check-in and check-out both needed discussions about policy, pricing, and making sure the bill matched the services, so the end of the stay wasn’t seamless. Mr. Altamash, the Front Office Manager, was patient, professional, and very helpful in sorting out the check-in issue. We had a spacious, comfortable suite that was beautifully done, one of the best parts of our visit. There was an occasional strong, unpleasant smell from the washroom that made things uncomfortable and needs attention. Breakfast had a great spread and was excellent, and the chef and staff greeted us warmly with a smile each morning. Our stay at Storii by ITC, Jaisalmer had its highs and disappointments. The specific team members’ hospitality was commendable, but ITC hotels in general may need to work on some operational issues and raise their game a little.

At breakfast the next morning, we waited half an hour before being seated at the bar. When we asked the dosa counter server to take our order, they brushed us off rudely. After we asked several times, we were told to wait and place the order ourselves. That capped a stay that had already been full of disappointments. We arrived with my family on 30.12.2025. Our voucher showed early check-in and we had requested it, but at 2:45 we were told the rooms weren't ready. The front desk said check-in was at 3 pm and they couldn't arrange anything, so we went for lunch. At 3:40 pm, our room was still being prepared. We had ordered pizza at 3 pm, then at 3:20 were told it couldn't be made. The Hakka noodles we ordered instead tasted bland, with oil the only thing we could see. It took a while for the chef to come out after we asked, and they offered to replace it without apologizing. We don't look for freebies, just decent quality, and that response didn't help. The menu also has several mistakes, including listing panchmel dal as non veg. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options should be taken seriously in a state where that matters. Even the tables weren't arranged properly. There's no travel desk. At the bar, our bartender kept digging his nose. I asked the front desk to have the manager call me; they did pass it on, and the assistant manager called so I could explain everything. We went to sleep hoping the next day would be better, but a sorry doesn't become a storii overnight. The hotel should learn to say sorry instead of stori. If you want to see how horrible an ITC can be, visit this hotel and experience the ITC Sorry, not Storii.

The private dunes evening was a highlight, with high tea, dinner, folk performances and then stargazing. The city tour was hassle-free too, and the experiences felt thoughtfully arranged. The spa was clean and calming, with skilled therapists. The stay began with smooth airport transfers and warm hospitality. The property feels like a beautiful palace rather than a regular hotel, and our room was spacious and thoughtfully done. The staff were consistently smiling, attentive and kind about even small details. Chef Sumesh Sarda deserves a special thank you for the delicious, authentic Rajasthani thali and signature dabba style food. Bharat and Simran also took lovely care of us and decorated our room beautifully. A truly memorable Jaisalmer stay. I'd love to return soon.

The property was peaceful and well cared for, and gave us the premium hotel experience we expected. The hospitality felt like what a stay in Rajasthan should be. Storii by ITC Hotels Jaisalmer was easily the best hotel of my whole Rajasthan trip, and well worth it. From arrival onward, the staff were welcoming and genuinely attentive. Their care felt natural, not forced, and every interaction showed good training. I'd happily stay again.
