The Elite Castle

I arrived by myself, and the owner greeted me so warmly and kindly. Everyone on staff was cheerful and lovely. My room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The staff also took me to some great places, which made for a valuable experience. I’d stay here again on my next visit.

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, especially with the fort view, and the staff were super helpful. The manager and owner, Mr. Desert, welcomed us warmly and shared plenty of useful information about local places. We were two couples in a deluxe room. Cleanliness was only average, and the washroom smelled bad and wasn’t in great shape. The jet spray didn’t work properly at first, though the manager got it fixed quickly. Dinner and breakfast were okay, but there wasn’t much variety. It was a good stay, but the room and washroom cleanliness needs work.

We booked through Ixigo(Agoda) after checking the good reviews, but the service didn’t deserve even one star. We arrived at 12 pm on 24th January and then waited about an hour for the room. When we finally got in, there was no electricity. At reception, when I asked about it, the person asked why I needed electricity 😂. They had a generator, but it wasn’t being used, and the power only came back two hours after we checked in. Our phones and other equipment had no charge. At checkout the next day, they wanted us to leave very good reviews on Agoda. I’ve still given one star because the food was good. From my experience, I’d ask people to choose well-known properties in jaisalmer instead of being fooled by a budget-friendly place with no service.

The rooftop view was amazing, especially at sunset, when Jaisalmer Fort glowed. The hotel also arranged our desert safari and served delicious meals with authentic Rajasthani flavors. The children enjoyed the spacious rooms and cultural performances, and the place felt safe, comfortable, and full of positive vibes for families. From the warm Rajasthani welcome to the peaceful atmosphere and clean, elegant rooms, Hotel The Elite Castle Jaisalmer gave us a lovely family stay. The traditional design made it feel like a real Jaisalmer experience. Staff were polite and attentive to the little details, and everything was well organized. Thanks to Mr. Narendra Singh Bhati and the whole team for making the trip memorable. We highly recommend The Elite Castle to families, friends, or solo travelers.
