For the safari, we explored the desert and saw local settlements, some abandoned and some still lived in. Sunset among the dunes was magical, and we shared tasty food and a night sleeping on the sand under the stars with fellow travellers. Our guide Rojar was funny and lovely, sharing stories about ghosts and everyday life, knowledge about camels and cleaning dishes, and songs. I also stayed in a private hostel room. It was big and clean, with a towel and hot water. The rooftop terrace and restaurant were peaceful, had a view of the fortress, and served good food. The staff really know what they're doing. They tried to find me a room to freshen up before the safari, even though I wasn't technically staying at the hostel that night, and they were responsive and attentive during my stay. Super recommended!

Everything with Tofu Safari was great, from the accommodation and food to the 1day/1night non touristic safari with Roza. We really enjoyed being out in the desert, and Roza was a funny, good guide. The hotel staff were really helpful too. We can only recommend it.

The camel safari I booked through the hostel was the highlight of my trip. Big shout out to roja, our guide, he was the best. Amazing staff, 10/10. They let us shower and relax after the safari, and the food was great. Definitely coming back 🇦🇺

The rooftop restaurant was good, and the team were attentive and helpful. We stayed two days, taking their desert safari one day and planning local sightseeing in Jaisalmer the other. They arranged a railway station cab when we told them ahead of time, and even added an extra bed for our kids. It was a good stay.

Rojay cooked us a delicious dinner and shared stories and his knowledge of the region on our night trip. We were lucky to be just four in the group, which made it especially enjoyable. A must-do in Jaisalmer.
