A calm, soothing place to stay, with clean, comfortable rooms. Its location makes it easy to get to the fort, other sights, and nearby food options. A good deal and a handy base for exploring Jaisalmer.

The bhawan is right in the middle of the bazaar, which is a real plus. The rooms were neat and clean, and the service was excellent. There isn't a lift or an in-house restaurant, but I still found it a good place to stay.

Mandir Palace is about a five-minute walk away, and since it's a partner hotel under the same owner, we could use its pool and restaurant. The food there was excellent. This hotel is in a busy spot by the old city and market, in a heritage building spread over three floors. It's very basic: clean rooms, but no tea or coffee, no fridge, low water pressure that made showering difficult, and noisy, malfunctioning air conditioning. There's no lift, though staff brought our bags up, and there's no restaurant on site. We stayed two nights.

A clean, economical place to stay in Jaisalmer, with good rooms and amenities. Guests also get free access to the pool and museum at the hotel's other premium property across the road, Mandir Palace Hotel. We enjoyed visiting there too. A good place overall.

Everything was good, but there was no food facility. Another important problem is that calls from outside the hotel aren't received for guests, as only the intercom is available. This really needs to be fixed.
