The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with all the amenities I could need, and the hotel was well maintained. Staff were polite and helpful, and booking, check-in, and check-out all went smoothly. We enjoyed the food, especially the Laal maas, and the complimentary breakfast had plenty of Indian and Western choices. The property has lovely heritage rooms and palace-like surroundings, plus a museum inside that I'd say is worth visiting. It's easy to find, about 25 minutes from Jaisalmer airport and accessible from around the city. For a distinctive stay in Jaisalmer, even just for a day, I'd consider it. It feels one of a kind and memorable.

Our group of 10 waited about an hour for the first night's buffet dinner, which arrived roughly 45 minutes later than we had been told. Dinner was unusually late to begin with. The staff were attentive and the service at dinner and breakfast was excellent despite the wait. At reception, there weren't enough staff to handle our group's arrival, and there was no formal welcome. When someone answered the room phone, they just said a casual “hello,” so staff could use more training in how they greet guests. We also couldn't use the attractive pool because of pigeon droppings. It should either be cleaned up or guests should be told about the issue. The hotel itself was good and the stay satisfactory, with a few things to improve.

We were five friends on a biking trip through Rajasthan and stayed at WelcomHeritage Mandir Palace for two nights. It was our second visit, and we always enjoy coming back. The staff are courteous, helpful, and genuinely caring, and the warm, comfortable stay captures the spirit of Rajasthan. The location is perfect. We're hoping to return next year.

The rooftop has breathtaking views of the Golden Fort, and the location is close to the main attractions. We also enjoyed the delicious food. WelcomHeritage Mandir Palace combines royal architecture with modern comfort, from its carved details and elegant balconies to its spacious, clean rooms with traditional Rajasthani decor. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. A lovely heritage stay if you're looking to enjoy Jaisalmer's royal character, with a good fit for families, couples, or anyone who loves historic places.

The location near the Fort and other attractions made getting around easy. We booked four rooms, including a Golden Suite, and they were all different, which made sense for an old palace rather than a business hotel. We liked our room and the property overall, and it was well maintained for a heritage place. Breakfast was a letdown: very few choices for five-star prices, with no live dosa or paratha counter. The lunch we had was also very average. That's why I took off a point for the food.
