The staff were friendly, the place was clean, and check-in was quick. They also moved me promptly when I asked to change rooms at 3.30am. I ended up in three rooms over three days, though. Room 318 is right beside the laundry room, so there was noise all night, and it carries a premium despite that. In the next room, the bed sockets didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone and use it at the same time. They moved me again. Breakfast was disappointing. The pastries and cakes were very dry, the out-of-season fruit lacked flavour, and there was no coffee machine. The food tasted like they were using the cheapest ingredients. The heating is controlled according to what most guests on the floor want, so if they prefer cooling or switching it off, you won’t get heat even if you ask. They gave me a battered portable heater that tripped after 10 minutes, but after I complained again about the heating, it worked fine for the last 24 hours of my stay. The ironing boards were old and rusty, with flimsy covers, and the towels showed plenty of wear. The shower water was warm. I wouldn’t stay again.

Cleanliness was awesome, and the hospitality was superb. I stayed in a base category room with the basic amenities, including a minibar and safe. The AC also has a heat mode. There wasn’t a Smart TV or USB wall chargers.

At Fortune Avenue Jalandhar, the staff were always ready to help with a smile, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with modern amenities. The hotel is well maintained and easy to get to. We also enjoyed a good variety of delicious food at the restaurant. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend it for business or leisure stays.

We had a great stay at “ fortune avenue” from 3rd December to 8th December. I booked rooms for myself and my in-laws, and arranging everything was smooth and easy. The rooms were all clean, comfortable, and full of facilities: TV, water heater, AC, hot kettle, mini fridge, water bottles, and plenty more. From the restaurant to housekeeping, service was fast and wonderful. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, and they’d be at the door after just one call. My in-laws and I enjoyed our stay. Thanks to MR. ROHIT VERMA for helping with the booking, and to MR. MANJEET for his great hospitality. He was helpful with all my concerns and sorted them out on time. Fortune should be proud of him, he’s one of the best staff members there. The food at “orchid “ was tooo delicious every time. We had the breakfast buffet every day and dinner there as well, and tried many dishes. Every dish was “ finger licking good. Must try “ lime soda” mix, “ mutton Rogan Josh”, and sarso ka saag”. Mr. SANDEEP was professional, communicative, and well groomed, and gave us good service in the restaurant. I’d recommend this hotel for stays, functions, and dinners. I really miss my time at “ fortune”. It felt like “ your home away from home”. One of the best hotels in Jalandhar, and I’ll definitely stay there again. Thanks for making the time memorable.
