Hotel Downtown Jalandhar

The rooms were very dirty, the bedding smelled, and the bathroom was dirty too. Staying here felt like a total waste of money. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

We held my cousin's birthday in a private lounge. It was a nicely decorated, spacious room, and the food and service were great. The staff knew the menu well and suggested good starters, including paneer Tikka and chicken tandoori. It's in the heart of jalandhar City, near nakodar and Jyoti chownk. One thing to know: there's no wheelchair entrance.

The desserts were unforgettable, especially the ice cream, the best-tasting I've ever had, and the rabdi jalebi was so good I went back for two or three plates. The food really made the celebration for my childhood friend's engagement, and the staff were so helpful and well mannered. Everything was up to the mark, and I had a fantastic time. 😊🤗

The noise from parties kept us awake every night, and even the sound system made the walls vibrate. In the mornings, the kitchen would wake us to say breakfast was ready, so sleeping in wasn't possible. For all 11 days, the bed sheets were filthy. We could hear mice in the ceiling air con unit, which didn't work, and the room was freezing. They took away our blow heaters to keep the M.D. warm. Cleaning only happened when we asked twice, and then only in the evening. There was mould under the sink and in the shower area. The card machine wouldn't accept international cards, so I had to travel to their other hotel to use mine. The Wi-Fi was a nightmare too. Don't waste your money.
