I work in hospitality and have a four-year degree, so I found the Front Office Manager’s conduct especially troubling. He kept arguing instead of handling my complaint professionally, and when I asked to speak with the General Manager, He made excuses. The rest of the hotel was good, but I was asked to pay 500 for early check-in despite rooms being available. I paid, but received no receipt or slip. It left me concerned the money may have been taken as a personal commission, which felt unethical and unprofessional. This kind of behaviour can damage the hotel’s reputation.
