For a budget stay, the rooms are comfortable and work for two, perhaps three, people. They have split ACs and LCDs, and you can order from the hotel menu for delivery to your room. It's a good guest house for a short stay, but don't expect much room service. It was good, and I'd recommend it for budget stays.
Our booking through MakeMyTrip was canceled by OYO, and the Hotel Star Inn team kindly arranged a drop to the different hotel booked by MMT. I really appreciated their support and hospitality, especially Robert. Thanks for your kindness. I'll definitely stay at your hotel next time.
The room they gave me shouldn't have cost more than 300, though Oyo charged 800+. The pictures on the Oyo app are fake, and this was my worst hotel experience. I travel to jalandhar often, and this stay was pathetic. The washroom, basin, water heater, and room weren't clean. There was no toilet paper or intercom. I'd rate this hotel -5.
Some switch boards didn't work and the AC wasn't working properly. The restroom hand shower was also out of order. The washroom was very unclean when I got it, especially the WC, which had clearly been used badly and was handed over without cleaning or sanitising. All in all, one of the worst rooms I've ever used.
Clean, comfortable, and pretty good for an overnight stay. The charge was affordable, and I really liked it.
