Bhanu The Fern Forest Resort & Spa Jambughoda, Series by Marriott

The gardens and large lawns are lovely to walk around, and the dense lotus flowers in different colors were especially beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at this medium-sized resort in Gujarat, a convenient distance from Ahmedabad. The resort and food were good, and the people were great. When I’d reached Ahmedabad after checking out, the manager kept trying to call and let me know I’d left my laptop at reception. He kindly arranged for another guest heading to Ahmedabad to bring it along. I collected my laptop later that same evening. That gentleman works as an IT engineer at Micron chip company and stays at Adani Shantigram apartments. Such a kind gesture from the manager.

The staff were calm, welcoming, supportive, and quick to respond, and their care made a big difference. We stayed one night, and the spacious, cozy rooms were very comfortable. The pool was clean and well maintained, the spa was spot on, and the game zone was thoughtfully kept and well equipped. Dinner and breakfast from the buffet were delicious, with lots of variety and beautifully prepared dishes. Bhanu - The Fern Resort & Spa is surrounded by lush greenery, with a serene, elegant feel that makes it easy to relax. It’s genuinely pet friendly too. They welcomed our pet like family, and the warmth they showed made us feel at home. Everything about the property felt cared for. We’d recommend it for a peaceful nature getaway, especially with your furry family member. Looking forward to visiting again! 🌿✨

The pottery-making session was a highlight for us. It was fun, different, and so well organized. We also had great food, with every meal full of flavor, plus activities throughout the day, including indoor and outdoor games and relaxing spa facilities. The staff were warm, cooperative, and always ready to help, which made the stay even more special. With its design and ambiance, the resort feels suited to a family or friends’ getaway, or even a quiet trip on your own. A lovely mix of relaxation, fun, and creativity.

The hotel charged an extra ₹3000 for the second person when we arrived with two people. I’d booked through Agoda and Booking.com, and the price was the same for one or two people, but I accidentally selected one adult. There was no clear warning that this would change the charges, so the extra fee felt unfair and unreasonable. Agoda and Booking.com customer support were very supportive. They understood the issue and tried to explain it to the hotel, but Bhanu Resort by Marriott wouldn’t cooperate or listen, and made us pay. The hotel’s handling of this showed poor customer service and a lack of transparency. I’m extremely disappointed, and wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect fair treatment and professional behavior. @Bhanu Resort by Marriott @Marriott @Agoda @Booking.com
