Hari Niwas Palace

The decorations were stunning, with every corner and detail carefully done. Miss Ankita Bansal, Mr. Piyush, and their whole team created such elegant setups, better than I’d imagined Jammu could offer. Mr. Vikas also took care of every little detail and kept things running smoothly. We hosted our event at Hari Niwas Palace in November 2025, and the hospitality was top-notch from the moment we arrived. The whole team went above and beyond, and their hard work and warmth made the event truly memorable. We enjoyed every moment. Thanks to everyone at Hari Niwas Palace for making our day special. We had a lovely, peaceful lunch here sometime in December 2019. There weren’t many people around, which made it feel relaxed. The tables were set out on the lawn, and eating under the open sky in the warm winter sun, despite the chilly weather, made it memorable. Nice place to visit, and the food was good.

The rooms have an excellent view, and the hotel has lovely indoor and outdoor spaces with good food. The staff were polite and great. It’s a palace hotel: the main building is a museum and library, while the other building on the property is the hotel. An excellent place to stay in jammu.

The museum was a great experience, and I’d encourage everyone to visit and see Jammu’s hidden culture at Hari Niwas. The staff were warm and welcoming, and clearly proud of the heritage they’re preserving. The food felt homely, and the views were phenomenal. I left a bag with valuables in the room, but the staff were very cooperative and returned it to me after checkout. Special thanks to Mr. Vishal and the 2nd-floor staff for their honesty. There are many reasons to give five stars, but the hospitality is where I’d start.
