The prices were far too high, and the hotel was very dirty. The pictures online also seemed heavily edited. It felt more like a lodge or guest house than a hotel. This was the worst place I've ever stayed, and the experience was very bad. Don't stay here.

The room itself was basic, with an uncomfortable bed and a tiny bathroom where the shower pressure was poor. For the high price, I expected much better facilities and comfort, and Nalanda Hotel, Bistupur, Jamshedpur didn't deliver. The location and exterior looked impressive, but the room facilities didn't match what they charged. I was very disappointed with my recent stay. Travellers, please be careful. I've attached pictures for reference.

Food is good, though there's no separate restaurant. The staff are courteous and helpful, and check-out is at 12 pm, with some flexibility if you ask. It's a budget hotel and one of the oldest. Some rooms are good, but the rates feel high for the facilities. A decent fit for business trips or a short stay of 1-2 days.

The hotel is old, but the rooms are spacious and well kept, and the washroom is roomy with all the amenities needed. It's in the market, close to tata steel plant, right in the heart of jamshedpur. Our business partners suggested it, and we had a very pleasant stay. Staff greet you with a smile and are helpful, while room service is quick and polite. The food tastes good and is good quality. The rate is a little expensive, but worth it. Good for corporate and business visits.
