The staff were courteous and professional, and the rooms felt spacious, clean, and comfortable. We also enjoyed the food, with plenty of choices at the restaurant and bar, and found the conference and banquet facilities well organized for meetings and events. G AJ Grand Hotel Mangalore is in a convenient central spot, and the hotel is well maintained. A lovely stay with a pleasant atmosphere, good hospitality, and food I’d happily recommend to families and business travelers visiting Mangalore.

We arrived around midnight after our flight to Mangaluru was delayed by three hours, and the 24-hour desk made check-in easy. The staff were very polite, room service arrived on time, and the rooms were clean with fresh towels. Breakfast had plenty of options, including a dosa counter. The area is fairly quiet, and the airport is about 20-25 minutes away. We had a very pleasant two-night stay and would recommend the place.

The food was a real highlight, both delicious and varied, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well kept. We felt warmly welcomed throughout our stay. Mr.Yogesh Shetty brought real professionalism to the front office, while Ms.Sinchana and Ms.Shravani were attentive and courteous. Mr.Bhasker deserves special thanks for making breakfast and dining such a good experience every time, and for his genuinely kind nature. The team’s care for guests makes AJ Grand Hotel one of the city’s best. Highly recommended when visiting Mangalore.

The service was a bright spot: most staff were warm and helpful, and check-in went smoothly. The central location near Hampankatta made it easy to get to meetings, sights, and local food. My room was comfortable and restful, with a good bed and decent amenities. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a swimming pool, and modern fittings. Some dishes at the restaurant were enjoyable, though others could use more variety and refinement; the breakfast buffet is said to be generous and decent, with enough choice to start the day. There are some drawbacks. Guests have mentioned noise from nearby areas or events, occasional mustiness, bathroom maintenance issues, and details missed by housekeeping. Light sleepers may want to ask for a quieter floor. Even so, the rooms, generally friendly staff, and location make it good value for a short or moderate stay. With more consistent cleanliness and service, AJ Grand Hotel could be a top choice for families, business travellers, and tourists in Mangaluru.

It’s one of the best new hotels in Mangaluru, and the rates are competitive. The breakfast is good and usually included. The location works really well for getting around, with many places reachable on foot or by auto. Rooms, beds, and bathrooms are good, especially if you’re away from the busy road.
