The restaurant was poorly run, and service there was bad. Check-in was a horrible experience too: it took the team 45 minutes. The staff were argumentative and discourteous, especially the older men in the morning. Very unprofessional front desk behavior.
I was first given an AC room priced at 1750, but its AC wasn't working. When I asked to switch rooms, staff said there were no other rooms unless I upgraded to one with good AC. They charged me an extra 250 for it.
The room was very dirty, and the receptionist asked for extra money. The receptionist and the other hotel staff behaved very badly. Better to avoid this place.
The bathrooms were extremely unclean, and the staff didn't speak properly to guests. They also wouldn't let guests take visitors, so a business meeting wasn't possible. My wife wasn't allowed to use the washroom when I was checking out. They don't follow some basic rules I believe hotels should follow, such as the Indian Sarais Act of 1867, which I understand lets anyone ask for free water and use a hotel's washroom, even at a five-star hotel. Staff also quarrel, are very rigid, and collect payment in advance, leaving you unable to do anything afterward. The worst hotel.
The main road location is convenient, with access to the amenities you'd need, and cabs can be arranged through the hotel for a charge. The food costs more than outside. Hygiene needs more attention, and the staff should be more proactive. It's an okay place to stay, though not especially good, and could be one option.
