We loved the cafe food, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. There’s even a small waterfall you can visit on a stroll. I recently stayed at this elegant homestay in Jibhi, right in the lap of nature, and it had a really peaceful feel.

There’s a stream right outside the door and apple orchards across from you. The surroundings are picturesque, the air is fresh and clean, and the hosts are warm and welcoming. We ate delicious home-cooked food and enjoyed nature at its best. Leave enough time to wander around the village, check out the cafes and visit the picture spots. The food was a highlight, especially the local dishes and the Chicken Momos the host made especially for us. Our room and the service were really nice, and the staff were good too. The washrooms are spacious, and the cleanliness stood out. I stayed here while traveling through Jalori Pass on the way to Spiti. The kind young host, Seerat Khanka, made us feel welcome at this lovely homestay in jibhi. The river and private natural pool add to its beautiful setting, which is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy nature. A nice place for short or long stays in Jibhi.

I only meant to stay two nights and ended up staying six. Leaving was hard, though I left with warm smiles and sweet hugs. Jibhi Home is truly paradise on earth, and I’m grateful to have found my home in Himachal Pradesh. Seerat manages the place wonderfully. Whenever you ask for something, she says, "I will arrange," and she delivers every time. Geetha Didi and her husband are full of sunshine, and they make delicious ginger chai and food, from rice and dahl and spinach with local greens to chicken and fish curry. The hospitality feels personal and generous. The setting is lovely: a green lawn dotted with tiny white flowers, an apple orchard, and a raging river whose sound is like a sleep machine for a peaceful mind. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with piping hot water at both the shower and the face-washing sink on cold days. The location is hard to beat, tucked away from the dusty main road but a stone’s throw from Jibhi market, shops, and cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Jibhi waterfall and mini Thailand are nearby too. You can catch a bus to Jalori Pass, which I highly recommend as an experience not to miss. There’s also an SBI bank branch and ATM close by in Jibhi Market. Everything you could want or need is there.
