Hotel Silver Cloud

I've stayed in many hotels as a corporate person, but I've never seen staff make such a fuss over one room key. I checked in on 20/12/2025, went out to get food, then had an emergency and left. I took the key with me and told the staff I had to go suddenly. I said I often come to Jodhpur, would return the key, and asked them not to worry. They insisted I had to return it that day and asked how they'd open the room. I said I couldn't hand it over before a week, but would try to come earlier and return it. When they called again, I said I'd call back. The staff member spoke politely at first, then asked why I had taken this key of grandfather. I was in a meeting and said I'd call later. He called me 100 times in one hour from different numbers, then messaged me on WhatsApp saying that wherever I was, he is our guy, and that he'd sent him my ID. Maybe his name is Abhimanyu Singh. If a guest has said they'll return a key, does a hotel really only have one and no way to open the room for the next person? I want to tell tourist person S and family not to stain there. The staff is very good, but there was no towel or soap in the room, and hair was scattered all over the bed sheet.
