Indana Palace Jodhpur

The hotel is large, clean, and well maintained, with spacious, modern, comfortable rooms. Still, it feels impersonal and has little warmth or soul. The rooms aren't soundproof either: we could hear luggage and staff conversations early in the morning, around 6 am. The gardens look impressive, but guests can't sit outside. For the evening music and dance show they offered only 8 chairs, despite the hotel having more than 80 rooms. The restaurants and bar are indoors only, and the hotel is remote from the city center. Breakfast and dinner buffets were fine, with decent food.

The property is huge, and it's very close to the airport, so getting there from the airport is convenient. The place feels calm and gives off positive vibes, with big rooms and a nice ambience. The food is nice too. My one disappointment was the swimming pool, which isn't very big. Still, the experience was outstanding overall, and you can recommend it to friends and relatives.

The hotel looks grand at first, but it lacks ambiance. The reception is huge and not very welcoming, while the nice, spacious rooms have good facilities and face a central courtyard. It's about a 20-25 minute drive from the main tourist area, and we stayed two nights. The place seems popular for conventions and weddings. Their evening entertainment happens in the central courtyard and disturbed other guests until 10pm. The restaurant and breakfast area is large, with a good selection, but service needs improvement. The staff seemed a bit disgruntled, and it showed. With all of that, our stay was average.

Everything else was really great: the food, rooms, and staff were all extremely good. The folk musicians could probably be better, though. The singers didn't quite meet the mark and felt extremely commercial.
