OYO 16799 Shikargarh Palace Resorts

We were there for a marriage party, and the owner behaved very nicely with us. It’s a good hotel if you’re booking the whole place.

The lawn is well maintained, the natural scenery is lovely, and the staff are supportive with good service. The rooms are spacious for the very reasonable price, and the calm, serene setting is a nice draw. But the rooms are old, the bathrooms aren’t tidy, and there was an AC problem that got fixed later. There isn’t a restaurant nearby, and with the rooms needing maintenance, I wouldn’t stay long. One or two days is okay.

It’s a good place to stay for the money, but don’t expect much service, and the food is poor. The hotel is quite far out, about 8.5 km outside the city. The nearby military area means aircraft noise, so despite the setting it isn’t really peaceful. There’s no restaurant nearby either, and the food here isn’t good.

There’s a gymkhana, good bedrooms, good food service, and good room service. The place has plenty of space for weddings, including ample parking, and they can provide food to suit customers’ needs. It’s not too far from the main market. Seems like a good choice for family parties, receptions, or company events.
