We had a bad stay and couldn't communicate because nobody spoke English. I feel sorry for the tenants, since fixing this is the owner's responsibility. This guesthouse needs a lot of work before it can host people properly. Online bookings need to be managed correctly. If a booking is already paid online, guests shouldn't be asked to pay again. Make it clear that only Hindi is spoken, and put up street signs, a clear map, and lights along that scary little corridor street. It was almost impossible to find. Walking through that dark tunnel felt like entering "MORDOR" from lord of the ring. Toilets and showers need fixing, and filtered water should be available all the time at no extra charge. The prices should suit the place, with fixed rates and no bargaining: around 300 per person or 500 for two, no more. There should be a proper registration book, and the boss should be there in person if there's a problem. This place could be okay if these things are addressed. Otherwise, it can't stay in business.

Mr. Mul Singh ji was very helpful and active. The hotel is a beautiful old-style Haveli, with rooms that give you a feel for traditional Rajasthan, and they were neat and clean. Since it's in the main market, it can be a bit difficult to find. Everything else was good.

Think of this as a homestay, not a hotel. If you want to explore how Rajasthani people lived in the past, this sort of haveli guest house is a good fit, especially for tourists from outside the state or country. For hotel-style rooms and facilities, stay in the city and come here to visit the blue City.

This is a converted residential building, basically a typical Rajasthani house. It's deep inside the area, with no proper roads leading there, and now they've shut down operations, so it's very hard to locate. The stays around that area are good for couples on a budget.

Patwa haweli is beautiful and lovely. It's one of the best heritage places I've ever visited, and it was such a good experience to see it.
