Tea and poha took a long time to arrive, even after three reminders, though they’d agreed to have them ready in 10 minutes. The food was average. The rooms weren’t up to the mark for the price, and the blankets looked old and unclean, so we used our own sheets. It’s in a residential area next to a school, with space for only 2-3 cars inside, though you can park by the roadside. The main sights are far away, and finding an auto rickshaw from here can be difficult.

Don’t stay here. The rooms are dirty, with filthy floors and dusty surfaces, and the blanket wasn’t washed, or at least should have been hung up and beaten. Staff are surly, and the so-called complimentary breakfast was dry toast with expired honey packets. Other menu items were listed but unavailable. Laundry costs too much, and the clothes came back damp. This place is straight-up awful. How it got even one positive review, I don’t know, bots maybe. If an agency booked it for you, demand somewhere else.

The hotel is beautiful and in a really good location. Bhivani at reception was very helpful. If you’re after an affordable stay, this could work for you.

We left and booked somewhere else, and had a far better experience there. We’d planned to stay here on a recommendation, but the room was just okay and extremely overpriced. The bathroom was the only decent part, it was clean. The blankets were old, dirty, and looked unwashed, and the towels were grey rather than white. The staff were rude and completely unprofessional. When we mentioned the uncomfortable mattress they expected our driver to sleep on, in what was basically a storage closet, they acted as if we should be grateful to have a room at all. They kept saying they normally book out in advance, even though at least three rooms were empty. They made it clear they thought they were doing us a huge favour instead of addressing our concerns. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, many much better than this, and have never been treated so poorly. Avoid it if you want decent service and respect as a guest. Edit: They called and pressured me to remove this review instead of taking responsibility for their behaviour. That alone should warn anyone considering the place.
