The Hosteller Jodhpur

We had a great two-day stay at The Hosteller Jodhpur. Reception was helpful and cooperative, and the common area and library were nice. Drinking water was available on every floor, the rooms were clean, the bathroom was decent, and everything felt well-maintained. It's close to the railway station, with parking and CCTV, and digital check-in and other processes made things easy. Network was a little patchy at times, but Wi-Fi is available. The one real hitch was that morning hot water wasn't available after about 9:30 AM, though it was there in the evening. We arrived late on day one after booking a bunk bed and a deluxe room, and they kindly gave us an extra mattress when we asked. We booked the first night through MakeMyTrip, then extended for the second night on their own platform with a special code for another 10% off. We'd rate it around 4.5-4.7. A good budget stay if you can work around the morning hot water timing.

The reception staff were very polite and welcoming, and the team was responsive and supportive. Check-in and checkout times were flexible, which I really liked. It's one of the best hostels in town, with an aesthetic property, a swimming pool in the front yard and a common area on the roof. I really loved this stay.

I had the best time at Hosteller Jodhpur, and nobody asked me to write this, it's just my own opinion. I've tried moustache, zostel and hosteller on my Rajasthan trip, and Hosteller stood out for things that matter when you're tired and away from home. Hygiene is non-negotiable for me as a girl, and they properly wiped and swept the room, cleaned it well and made sure it smelled yum, unlike my experience with other hotel chains. The staff were respectful of my space rather than pushy or overly attentive. They might nudge you once, but that's it. No useless flirts! The only thing I'd change is adding a couple more options to the food menu. My stay was perfect, thanks guys.

The hostel had a warm, welcoming feel from the moment I arrived. Raj Maity, the Community Manager, especially made the stay memorable. He was friendly, helpful and always around to lend a hand or share stories, and he made everyone feel at home. His recommendations for local attractions, food spots and hidden gems in Jodhpur were excellent. You can tell Raj Maity genuinely cares about guests and the hostel's overall vibe.
