The bathroom tap water was muddy, from both the hot and cold taps. The room was good, and breakfast was included for guests who rented a room. The options were puri sabji, boiled egg with bread and butter or jam, or an omelette with bread and butter or jam. It's a budget hotel for travellers.
I stopped by the bar and liked its pleasant, cozy interior. I ordered rum and peanut masala, enjoyed the drinks, and got decent service. It's a good place to have a few drinks without spending much. The hotel was established over 40 years ago and was Jorhat's first three-star hotel. Its reception lounge is spacious, with comfortable seating.
The cooking staff behaved very badly. The sheets and blankets weren't clean, and the toilet flush didn't work properly. The rooms have aluminium windows without grills or a locking system. I can give it only one star.
The restaurant has an ethnic feel, with a Bihu dancer statue in its interior. Rooms are clean and spacious, and their lovely decor makes them feel cosy. The food was delicious, especially the aloo Paratha. Staff were friendly and punctual. A good hotel at an affordable price.
The rooms and water were very dirty, and the food smelled of rats, so I couldn't eat it. I've never seen a worse hotel in my life. Please stay somewhere else nearby for your own sake. For your information, check out this video from the no. 1 worstest hotel, Paradise.
