The staff and amenities were up to the mark, and the place seemed reasonably maintained for its area. The roads are narrow, but there’s enough parking. There’s no food service at the hotel, though you can order from Swiggy and zomato. We visited the darga and found it very nice. The hotel is beside the famous ameen peer darga, in narrow streets of the Muslim community, so it mainly suits Muslim pilgrims. The cost felt a little high for that locality. We chose it after seeing four-star and higher ratings on Google and other booking sites, but were disappointed by the location. Don’t rely blindly on website reviews.

The receptionist was sluggish, and service was very slow. The room charges are high for the size of the room. Don’t even try staying here.

The charges are too high for a place with no amenities. You have to beg for a towel and walk to reception to collect it. There’s no hot water, and you need to bring your own soap and oral hygiene kit. It’s noisy, on a small lane, and transport options are poor.

We booked a family room at Ziara Hotel, but it was only okay and didn’t justify the price. During the night, someone kept knocking on our door, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. It stopped only after we complained at reception. That kind of incident is unacceptable, especially for families. At first there was no water, and when it finally came, the bathroom flush didn’t work. The watchman was rude and unhelpful too. There aren’t proper food options nearby, so plan for that if you stay. It wasn’t a pleasant stay, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. They need to improve both service and safety.
