Udupi Radhakrishna Residency

The hotel is in a busy area, but its immediate surroundings are quiet, and the location is its main advantage. The A.C and hot water worked perfectly. Still, toilet upkeep was poor, the flush and washbasin tap didn't work, and we had to ask for towels and soap or they wouldn't provide them. Coffee isn't available at 6am, so expect to wait until 7.30am. They want everything in cash, which seems ridiculous nowadays.

I was there for two days around January 12th. The room was a little small, but the price was reasonable and the location quite nice. Service was okay, management and staff were good, and the reception people were friendly.

The bathroom was clean and had hot water all day, and my Deluxe AC room was hygienic. But the flush didn't work properly, and they didn't provide a complimentary water bottle, which is a basic. I'd still recommend the hotel.

Tea, coffee, and drinking water were easy to get, and room service was prompt and courteous. There's no food on site, so meals need to come from outside or nearby eateries. The hotel is older and the rooms show that, but they're clean and well maintained. Its location is convenient, a short walk from the railway station and Bhanu Gudi Center. Comfortable enough for a short visit.
