Svenska Design Hotel Kakinada

The food was a letdown: stale dishes, hard bread, melted ice cream served as liquid, and lime soda with no soda. Room service was careless and very poor. The manager offered 20% off the stale food as compensation, which felt like a way to sell more rather than address the inconvenience. We paid an extra ₹2500 for early check-in, but couldn’t get basic comfort. The AC didn’t work for us until 4 PM. They moved us to another room, where the AC took until 7 PM to cool down from 27°C. The lifts weren’t working properly either. The advertised facilities were also poorly maintained. The pool was dirty, most of the games were broken so the game zone was unusable, the carrom board had no powder, and several other facilities didn’t work. Don’t judge the stay by how the property looks. This was one of our worst and most frustrating stays, completely disgusting and disappointing.

The whole team was welcoming and worked well together. During my stay at Svenska Hotel, Kakinada, I especially appreciated the General Manager’s humble manner, professionalism, and attention to guest comfort. That leadership came through in the staff’s courteous interactions and the hotel’s high standards. It was a pleasant, memorable stay with outstanding service. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kakinada.

After a busy day, the poolside was a clean, peaceful place to relax. The sky lounge also has a breathtaking panoramic view of the city, especially in the evening. The staff were welcoming and very professional in their hospitality and service. My stay at Svenska,Kakinada was luxurious and memorable, and I’d highly recommend it.
