The phone response when I raised a hygiene concern was dismissive, and that’s what disappointed me most. I’ve been a regular customer and usually liked the food, but one takeaway order changed how I feel about the place. We got a paper dosa for my kid. At home, I found it had been folded directly in newspaper and wrapped in foil. I can’t see how newspaper is an acceptable way to pack food. I called to let the restaurant know, but the person who answered didn’t acknowledge the issue and said, “that’s how we pack paper dosa.” It came across as arrogant. I eventually returned, and they refunded me and apologized for the inconvenience, which I appreciate. The food itself is good, but service and staff attitude need serious improvement. This kind of experience damages customer trust. It happened a while ago, and I’m late writing this, but it still bothers me.

The meals were the highlight of my first lunch at Aryas Regent. For ₹152, they came on vazhayila with a good variety of tasty sides, potato fry, and payasam, and left me full. I returned that evening for chana bhatura (₹108) and masala dosa (₹93), and both were good too. Service was quick and courteous, and there’s parking near the restaurant. The food was consistently good and felt like real value for money. A great vegetarian spot I’d visit again.

The food is excellent, with good vegetarian dining and basic amenities. Parking is available nearby, about 200 metres from the hotel. The rooms could use some maintenance, though. They felt dusty and were very noisy because the main road is close. There were also a few mosquitoes, so an All Out would help.

The food was tasty as usual, but poor service and housekeeping made our stay at Aryaas Regent a bad experience. At night, we asked for water and staff said they were busy at the restaurant, so they didn’t help. The restaurant was packed in the morning with only two people serving. We had to complain at the counter to get attention, then complain again after eating before our tea arrived. Staff behavior, housekeeping, and service all need improvement.

The service was warm, and the portions were generous. I loved the authentic Kerala Sadya, with its delicious flavors and homemade taste, served beautifully on a banana leaf. A lovely choice if you enjoy traditional Kerala vegetarian food.
