The Blooms Cochin

The room was in very poor shape, with a foul smell in both the bathroom and the room, dim lighting, and a slow TV that wasn’t set up properly. It was extremely old and badly maintained, and staying there was uncomfortable. My experience didn’t match what the reviews suggest about the rooms and facilities. The stay fell far short of expectations, and cleanliness, maintenance, and transparency all need major improvement. I wouldn’t recommend this property without significant changes.

Good room and service, and a good location, though the traffic means it takes a little longer to reach the hotel. It’s a perfect place for a longer stay.

Really enjoyed the food, especially the chicken fried rice and butter chicken. The butter chicken had a unique flavor, with a crispy coating on the chicken and buttery gravy. That was pretty enjoyable.

The food was good, with lots of options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the staff were good too. It’s a new hotel with a good restaurant. The location wasn’t great for me, opposite a petrol pump and far from the city. They also said extra water would be chargeable when I asked for some.
