Edward was so friendly and helpful, and Roji was always smiling. The food she made was delicious. I stayed six nights at Angels' Homestay Marari and had a lovely, restful time by the sea. The beach is just 300 m away. My clean room had a table, wardrobe, and mosquito net, and its terrace looked out over the big garden, a nice spot to relax or have breakfast. I highly recommend it for a stay at Marari Beach or a boat trip on the backwaters near Allepey.

After I paid for my Airbnb booking, the host cancelled it a few days later with only a simple “sorry.” It was unreliable and highly unprofessional, disrupted my plans, and caused unnecessary hassle. I wouldn't recommend this place if you need a confirmed, trustworthy booking.

I've stayed at Angel's homestay twice, and I'd happily come back. It's quiet, with a lovely garden and just a short walk to the beach. Edward is a friendly, helpful owner. Breakfast is delicious, and you can also ask for dinner. For anyone interested, Edward has some very nice paintings that he made himself.

Edward made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and helped us out many times. The location is lovely, with the beach and restaurants within walking distance, though you can also eat at the homestay. Lunch and dinner are affordable, delicious local food, with vegetarian or fish options. Our room was spotless, with a comfy bed, AC, and a small terrace for everyone. Breakfast is included too. It's a really good deal at a fair price, and I wish more places in India were like this. Can recommend without a doubt!
