Hotel Garden Reach

Dinner and breakfast at Garden Reach (Courtyard) Hotel were both tasty and nicely presented. The owner had missed my call while she was in a meeting, but she came to us in person afterward and apologized gently. She also gave us a good luck gesture, came to see us off, wished us a good journey, and briefly guided us on sightseeing. We’d like to thank her.

Mornings brought a clear view of Kanchenjunga, and the peaceful setting would work well for couples or families. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked in an authentic Kalimpong style. The owner and staff were kind, the place was clean and comfortable, and it really felt like a home away from home. We had such a lovely stay and honestly, you won’t regret staying here. 🌄💛

The garden was beautiful and so relaxing, and I loved sitting on the outer terrace after breakfast in the sun with that majestic view. From the terrace in the old building, you can watch the mountain ranges light up at night. I’ll remember it for a long time. Our room 301 didn’t have much of a view, but we looked around and saw that other rooms had exceptional views. We were here for a partner's meet for 5 days as a group of 24, and everything was very well maintained. Food and service were excellent, apart from network problems caused by some electricity issues during natural calamities. The owner was kind, lovely, and happy to answer questions or suggest places to visit. The staff were hospitable and took care of our needs with real care, especially Roshni ji, Suhana, Sudha ji, Srikant, the reception guys, and many others who made us feel like family. I loved the Nepali Thali they made for us. The prime location also made the stay more enjoyable, with cafes, tourist spots, local markets, and shops close by. I’ll miss the owner and all the kind staff, especially Roshni ji. Thank you for looking out for us. We’ll come back if we visit Kalimpong again. Highly recommended. 🤌🏻❤️

The market is nearby, which made things convenient, and the garden and park areas were nice places to unwind. We stayed in a pine wood cottage that was beautifully decorated and cozy. The staff were polite and helpful, especially the owner and Suhana. It was a comfortable, memorable stay, and I’d highly recommend it. 💫
