Hotel Kalpa Deshang

The person handling the contact number was rude and arrogant. They raised the rate within one day and then refused to give us the room. Totally unacceptable behavior.

From a room at this hotel, you can see the Holi Shivling directly. It also has a great view of the Kinnor Kailash range.

The roof terrace and its Kailash view were amazing, but that was the one beautiful thing about this hotel. The room and washroom weren't clean, and the entrance smelled so bad and was so dirty that I covered my nose whenever I passed through. We stayed for one day during my Spiti tour. I recommend not booking here. It was the worst hotel of my trip.

My brother was asking about the details, and the staff were shockingly rude and arrogant, as if doing their jobs was a favor. The customer service over the phone was virtually nonexistent, with behavior that showed hostility and a complete lack of professionalism. The location has potential, but poor management and unacceptable staff behavior make it hard to justify. If you're looking for a peaceful, respectful, enjoyable stay in Kalpa, look elsewhere. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience at Hotel Kalpa Deshang was disappointing enough to warn others.
