Ananda Castle

We stayed for two days and were very satisfied with the service from the staff. Breakfast was tasty and good quality too, and Raj Chaudhary served us especially nicely.

The cleaning request was another long wait. I kept asking when someone would come, was told “10 minutes,” then waited over two hours. Earlier, I had repeatedly asked for a room if one was available, but they made me wait even though rooms were available. Staff said one thing and did another, and their behavior felt extremely unprofessional. I even explained that I needed to leave for darshan, but they showed no concern. It was a very disappointing, frustrating experience and felt like complete harassment.

Good value for money, and a good hotel if you want to stay near premanand ji asharam. I wouldn't put much weight on the negative reviews, which I feel may be fake or written by people with high expectations. The visitors' photos are more convincing to me.

We'd stayed at this hotel two or three times before, so we called to book again. The manager was very unaccommodating about offering a discount. It wasn't simply that we didn't get one, it was how we were treated as returning customers over the phone. Then, after we arrived and asked for a super delux room, he changed the rent from what we'd discussed on the call. I had a pretty bad experience with them this time.
