Azay Luxurious Apartment

Aswin and Biveesh did a great job making sure everything was right during our stay at Azays Resorts. We really appreciated their help. The ambience and rooms were excellent, and we enjoyed the visit. We'll definitely come back.

The location was very convenient, and we felt comfortable and well looked after. Our room was spotless, the staff were helpful and very polite, and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

They even provided a stove so we could cook baby food, which was helpful. The host was good, and we had a cozy stay with a nice view of nature. An excellent choice for a stay.

The hill views from the left-side balcony were beautiful, and the basement parking was convenient. The staff were very helpful with local arrangements and did not charge extra for my early check-in or late checkout. They arranged sightseeing transport at clear rates: a taxi was 2,700 per day including tax, while an auto taxi was 2,200 per day for 100 kilometers, with extra distance at 18 per km. I stayed in the full 2BHK apartment, with two ensuite bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a large hall, and dining area. The main problem was the kitchen. I had confirmed in advance that there would be an induction cooker and utensils, but on arrival the cooker was under repair. Swiggy and Zomato don't deliver to this area, and service runs only from 10am to 7 or 8pm. I ended up eating cold food from a local supermarket, and without a way to heat it, I got food poisoning and lost a full day of my trip. Hot water was also limited. They use a solar geyser that is switched on around 6am and takes until 8am to heat up, and hot water should not be expected after 6pm. There were electrical safety concerns too: several sockets sparked, and a wiring problem fried my personal night lamp. Most of the rooms were clean, though I saw spider webs and dust in some corners. The transport prices seemed fair and transparent, and the staff were proactive. Still, the kitchen setup, lack of nearby delivery options, restricted hot water, faulty wiring, and minor cleanliness problems made the stay difficult.
