Green mount cottages was clean and well maintained during our three-night stay. It’s in kalpetta, close to the city, with stores and tourist places easy to reach. The owner was friendly and responded well whenever we raised a concern. I’d recommend this budget-friendly stay.
The room was below average, dusty, and smelly, and the photos uploaded by the owner didn’t match at all. They seemed AI altered. The pillowcase and bedsheets had stains and didn’t look properly washed, and the bathroom window wouldn’t close properly from inside. I’d avoid it if you’re travelling with family.
The owners were friendly and helpful, and we found the location handy, with good hotels and cafes nearby. We stayed for just one day, but the room was roomy and cozy. A nice place to stay in Kalpetta.
