Kallat British Resort

The pool was the last straw. It looked clean and inviting in the photos, but the water was murky and yellowish, with insects in it. It seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Some rooms also smelled strongly of alcohol, as though they hadn't been cleaned after people had been partying. The whole place had a damp, strange odor that made it hard to relax or breathe comfortably. Our room was dirty, smelly, and gross, and the bathroom looked filthy, like it hadn't been properly cleaned in ages. Room service was slow and careless, and the staff seemed uninterested and were plain rude. We ordered drinks a second time, and they were either forgotten or arrived very late, warm and watery. The WiFi kept cutting out, so it was barely usable. For the same price, booking a little earlier could get you a much better resort. This place isn't worth what they charge. Don't be fooled by the positive reviews that sound fake. Maybe those reviewers haven't stayed somewhere decent, or maybe their standards are extremely low. It's a waste of time and money, and I would never return. Stay away unless you want to be disappointed.

Kallat British Resort was a lovely place to get away from the city, with misty hills and greenery all around. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, mixing heritage-style decor with modern amenities. The staff were kind and helpful, and requests were handled with a smile. The food was freshly prepared and delicious, with both local and continental choices. There are nature walks and chances to watch birds too, which would suit families and nature lovers. I'd gladly visit again for the peaceful setting and warm hospitality.

The photos give a very different impression from the actual resort. Rooms were dirty, furniture dusty, and bedding stained. The property was in poor shape, with broken facilities, neglected surroundings, and a foul smell in the common areas. I added only two photos, though I could have added more than 100. Don't book here, it's a waste of money and could ruin your trip.

The setting was a letdown. It felt inconvenient and wasn't as accessible or scenic as I expected from a resort of this quality, which may disappoint people wanting easy access to attractions or good views. Food and service were the strong points: the dishes were varied, tasty, and well prepared, and the staff were polite, attentive, and added real warmth. I'd consider it if food and hospitality are your main priorities, but the location detracts from the stay.
