Woodrose Resort

Chembra Peak looks beautiful from the cottages’ balconies, and the scenery is lovely both day and night. There’s a small coffee farm on one side and a little forest behind the resort, adding to the natural feel. We stayed two days at Wood Rose Resort in a premium wooden cottage, which suited our family of three. The room was clean and neat, housekeeping did a great job, and the staff were well behaved and provided excellent service. Manager Thomas Ettan was kind and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable and safe. The pool was clean, and it felt welcoming for kids. There were relaxing games and a gym as well. Room service was very good. It’s on Kalpetta–Meppadi Road, a little uphill, with scenic surroundings. Breakfast is provided, and the other meals we tried were tasty too. This was a peaceful, refreshing break from our busy, stressful routine. We chose it after seeing a friend’s photos and hearing their recommendation, and it was worth it.

The greenery and peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax, and the balcony view was lovely. The property was clean and very well maintained. The staff were kind, supportive and ready to help, which made a real difference. We prefer pure vegetarian food, so they let us order from outside and even warmed our homemade food. That was thoughtful. A comfortable, quiet place with good food and hospitality, and a must-visit resort in Wayanad.

The team helped us with local sightseeing by sharing the number for an auto driver, Hashim. He was reliable and helpful, and even checked on us after we got home safely. That kind of care really stood out. The manager and staff were warm, welcoming and always ready to help, with excellent service throughout. The resort itself is beautiful, with well-kept rooms and breathtaking views. We felt right at home, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you for making the trip so memorable. The photos came out amazing here. It’s a great location for photoshoots, though not many photographers seem to know about it yet. A hidden gem! The stay at Woodrose Resort was peaceful, with excellent accommodation, delicious food and a top-notch ambience. It’s beautifully maintained too.
